Case 79: Inadvertent Transcolonic Biopsy of a Pancreatic Head Mass
This 57-years old man with a pancreatic head mass came for a CT guided biopsy. USG and one earlier CT guided requests had been declined because of the vessels and the overlying bowel.
I thought I would find a direct extracolonic route, but in the end had to go through the transverse colon. The patient was fine.
The video explains the procedure and also why it is safe to use a transcolonic route.
