Case 77: Prevascular Space Mediastinal Mass Biopsy Using a Parasternal Approach with Hydrodissection (Salinoma)
This 54-years old man with a history of nephrectomy for some renal mass 10 years ago came with a left para-aortic, prevascular space mediastinal mass for biopsy.
The two main approaches are transsternal and parasternal. In this case, I used a parasternal approach with hydrodissection (salinoma) to displace the pleura. The video explains how and why.
