Case 76: When the Biopsy Needle is "Breathed Out" Of the Lesion
This 57-years old man treated earlier for a urothelial cancer came with multiple lung nodules. A biopsy of the nodule in the posterior segment of the right upper lobe was performed in the supine oblique position.
During the biopsy, the canula and gun "slipped" out of the nodule on their own, simply because of respiratory motion.
The video explains the situation, how to identify it and what to do to rectify the problem.
