Case 102: Almost Blind Liver Lesion Biopsy using Just Measurements and Feel
Updated ToC
A 42-years old woman with carcinoma breast had a focal lesion picked up on a PET/CT, isodense on CT and not seen on USG.
Using measurements made on the pre-operative MRI and replicated manually on the CT during the biopsy, and with good patient co-operation, the lesion could be successfully biopsied. The "feel" of entering the lesion also helped identify the lesion.
